Having trouble believing you will survive working in the post-COVID airline industry? If you put your sincere faith in God to pull you through, even imperfect faith, He will bring you through it all. He is that kind of God!
As in the biblical case of the father of the sick child who confessed to Jesus that “I believe, help my unbelief,” the scripture speaks of a God who continues to be willing to help us learn that He loves us, even despite ourselves.
Always remember that because the love of Christ transcended that doubting father’s shaky faith, his sick child was healed anyway. This kind of love is not earned by perfect faith. In fact, it is not earned at all.
Real love, the divine kind, is purely the gift of the One doing the loving, One who loves perfectly because He is love.
“Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears,
‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!’
When Jesus saw that the people came running together,
He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it,
‘Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!’”
