Are there days on the flight line when everything facing at you both at work and at home feels insurmountable? Hold on, brother or sister in Christ, and persevere. “This too shall pass” and someday you will know it all has been worth the fight.
If we are open to God’s will for our lives He will make us into something so wonderful that our struggles here on earth will someday pale into insignificance by comparison.
In fact on that day, we will be thankful for Him allowing even the worst of those struggles, for without them His all-surpassing plan for our ultimate good might not have been fulfilled.
Then we will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that all the things we went through really did work for our good.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. Romans 8:18 (ESV)
