Ever notice how even just a moment of God’s loving felt presence can keep you going in the faith for a lot longer than that moment?
As a follower of Christ becomes more seasoned in the faith, powerful “mountain-top” experiences with the presence of God may sometimes become more common or sometimes less, but either way all true believers are graced with them periodically throughout their earthly lives.
C.S. Lewis is said to have once referred to such moments as “postcards from Heaven.”
Such experiences are drinks of cool water in a land that seems all too often dry, and they are moments for which we can be profoundly grateful.
