Fellowship Of Christian Airline Personnel

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

Does working in public contact airline work seem unbearable to you in this new environment? Remember that, as a true child of God, He will either change your circumstances or give you strength to bear them, and all for your good in the end.

Simplify your life when you can and shed the tasks that you are truly sure are ones God never meant you to take on. But for the real burdens that a godly life requires us to shoulder, try to remember that He never gives us more than we can handle with His help. It may not always feel that way, this is true, but He knows our limitations much better than we do and He will never suffer His children to be crushed under the burden a load that He, Himself, has given us to carry.

“For we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely not on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us.”  2 Corinthians 1:8-10 ESV
