Anger is something of which there is no shortage in “public contact” airline work.
We know from Scripture that anger, in and of itself, is not sin, but can become sinful very quickly if we do not overcome it. The best source of power for that is our Savior Himself.
We are not changed by angry judgement; we are changed by love, and not the fickle kind of love the world thinks is enough. We are only truly and permanently changed by the unconditional kind that flows to and through us through Jesus Christ.
For the believer with an anger problem that kind of love needs to be appropriated, and passed on to all, especially those with whom we are regularly in close contact.
“Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.” -Psalm 37:8 (ESV)
