This world is one seriously messed-up place, it is true.
Just know that the love of Christ living in us through the Holy Spirit is our guarantee that this planet, as it now exists, is also not our home.
When we are tempted to think that the world of CNN, Fox, and their ilk is all there is, we desperately need to remember what the Scriptures tell us Heaven will be.
We must meditate on the place the blood of Christ has opened up for us to enter at the appointed time, a place where love will “have its day” for all eternity.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away…” -Revelation 21:1 (ESV)
