FCAP Staff Feature – Cathy Goza

Cathy is such a sweet and caring lady! From the way she speaks with such joy of every chance she gets to talk to her FCAP contacts, you know how much she cherishes every relationship in her life.  She has served as our Administrative Coordinator in FCAP since 1980.  Prior to coming on staff, she graduated from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Administration and then worked for almost seven years as a Flight Attendant for Eastern Airlines.  At the time, she had no idea how God planned to use her combined education and job as a flight attendant in the days to come.   As the need arose in FCAP for a full-time secretary, God led Cathy to leave her job at Eastern and come on staff.

Over the years, Cathy has witnessed a lot of change and growth in the FCAP ministry.  She can attest to God’s faithfulness through it all … faithfulness to answer prayer, faithfulness to provide for both the physical and financial resources needed to carry on the ministry, and faithfulness to change lives for His glory.  Her heart’s desire and prayer is to see that continue in the days to come.  Relationships she has gleaned while being a part of the FCAP family are cherished … to her, they are family.

Cathy has one daughter and enjoys her additional role as grandmother to three boys.

And here is the TRIM TAB cover with the article introducing Cathy as FCAP’s new Secretary in 1980!

Cathy’s “life verse” is Proverbs 3:5-6:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

We at FCAP are richly blessed to have Cathy as part of our team, daily serving the ministry so well as she has faithfully done over so many years. We thank God for the ways he has worked through her life!
