Is there a way we in FCAP can somehow be a part of the outbreak of revival amongst those in global commercial aviation? The blessed answer is yes.
There are actually at least two ways. Historically, the great revivals of the Christian faith through the centuries have been preceded by the sustained and fervent prayers of many for those revivals to happen. It is in earnestly and corporately petitioning God’s Spirit to move powerfully through His people that the fires of revival have seemingly been kindled, drawing the faithful into deeper consecration to, and life in, Jesus Christ.
The overflow from that prayed-for mass movement of the Holy Spirit results in a powerful increase in enthusiasm for manifesting the kind of true witness which then brings thousands, tens of thousands, or even more of our co-workers to authentic salvation.
So, prayer is primary here. What, then, is the second ingredient that fans the flames of revival? The answer to that question we will address next week.
“There has never been a spiritual awakening in any country or locality that did not begin in united prayer.”
