Fellowship Of Christian Airline Personnel

Introducing Tiffany Chow

Two weeks ago I was praying to God, asking if He really wants me to go back to the aviation industry. I was also praying for the lost souls there and for discouraged Christian pilots that are flying for the Lord in the airlines.

My YouTube had a video featuring Aviation 101 with Laura, “Living Your Faith Aviation Interview.” I was so surprised with the title as it seemed to echo my prayer. So, I clicked in, and immediately I was so moved. In this segment Laura was interviewing pilot Jake Joseph, General Director of the Fellowship of Christian Airline Personnel (FCAP). He talked about how he first got connected with FCAP though a tag on the luggage carried by a Christian Captain that he flew with. As he shared, Jake gave tips on how to bring pilots “on board” to Christ through a flying career. I was so moved by his passion and his words, and it seemed to be answering questions for me on how we can encourage one another in the aviation industry. Through this ever changing but dynamic schedule and with lots of challenges and uncertainty in training or even the job hunting process, what we are doing individually as a crew member may seem little. However, we can always touch one soul, one step at a time.

Initially, I only meant to go to FCAP’s Instagram to say hello. But since my access to Instagram failed, I was “directed” to go to the website. There I filled out the contact form for FCAP, where I was led to write down my own testimony to Christ and details of my personal contact. This “coincidence” led Jake to send me a message in WhatsApp within a few hours, arranging a Zoom meeting with me. To my other pleasant surprise, I then realized Jake and I also have another WhatsApp group in common … we pray for the Hong Kong Aviation Fellowship and the people daily. I am so amazed at how God is answering my prayer and connecting me with fellow Christians and pilots at the other end of the world just like this!

Indeed, I am very new to this fellowship and already feel loved and accepted here. I am really looking forward to upcoming connects and exploring ways in which I can be used and serve here.

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV

One of the photos included with this article is a painting that I painted during the pandemic, and I would like to dedicate it for FCAP. It reminded me of a verse that the Lord has put in my heart, and it is also a blessing and hope for all who see it. May it bring encouragement to all our fellow aviators and brothers and sisters.

“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now. God’s Decree. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings!”
