Introducing Jomel Guy

Shalom! My name is Jomel Guy and I just assumed the position to lead FCAP LTP-LTTP (Lufthansa Technik Philippines and Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines). I am a Senior Records Controller in our company and basically, we oversee the updating and archiving of the records and documents of every aircraft that visits our hangar for maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul.

I am a love child of my parents for they had their own family when I was born. I was raised by my Lola (grandmother) during my childhood years. Growing up with no mother and father beside me was a lonely and devastating experience. I was exposed to all kinds of vices during my younger years and got hooked on them and eventually became a chain smoker, drunkard, drug user, gambler, and a womanizer … a young man with no direction in life, no hope, and bound to destruction. One day, a relative of mine came to my place to stay, while he did his application to work abroad. He began to share with me the goodness and love of God through His Son Jesus. This relative never gave up on me until I went with him to attend a local church in our area. God spoke to me that day through preaching, praise, and worship. I believed God used my relative to show His light and salvation to my life as I finally came to know and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Then, I got involved in kids’ ministry, Levites’ ministry, youth ministry, and young adult ministry. I took classes at a seminary and attended many trainings and seminars to equip myself. Then I was assigned to be the youth pastor and became the associate pastor. Then in 2018, my lead pastor passed on to me the baton of leadership.

A surrendered life to Jesus and being used by God in His ministry is a blessing and privilege indeed. God has blessed me to work here at my current company and also gave me the chance to minister in our workplace through FCAP.

God has also blessed me with a gorgeous wife, Angely, and blessed us with four beautiful children, Cole (12 yrs old), Caleb (10 yrs old) Cramer (5 yrs old), and our little princess Carmela (4 months old).

There is no heart too hard to God’s saving power and no soul too wicked for God’s goodness and unconditional love. As I recall my life, I have seen the goodness and saving power of God through his wonderful promise from Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

I thank God that He has plans for my life, He never let me be doomed, He has provided and blessed me exceedingly, and He gave me that living hope that gives me excitement to look forward to that wonderful future.

No one is too bad, no one is too confused, no one is too hopeless that cannot be used by God. We Can all be used by God for His glory. All glory, honor, and praises belong to God! God bless us al!
