“Go and Make Disciples”: Revival and the Great Commission

As we end this weekly series on revival, we now know the two single most important human catalysts for a divine response that can bring it into being. These two catalysts are deep prayer and true repentance. If those who know the Lord and are involved with ministry in and to the global commercial aviation community, commit themselves to seeking both these disciplines, it is possible that this could be the year we see at least the beginnings of revival among us. That revival could then potentially lead to an awakening that breaks out among the 3.6 million human beings who work in airline and airline-related jobs worldwide with the result being a harvest of untold numbers of souls for Christ and His Kingdom.

Of all the goals we at FCAP seek for those in our huge mission field, a true revival/awakening like this is likely the greatest thing we could ever hope to see. This year our leadership is encouraging us to seek just that. So, if you are, or have ever been, involved in this ministry now (a period of great upheaval all over the planet) is the perfect time to join as one body of believers working in commercial aviation who are also consciously seeking a huge movement of God’s Spirit in our midst. Wherever we work, and serve, in a lost and dying world this can be our holy goal for 2025.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)
