We all carry a lot of baggage in this life, and that doesn’t mean the kind we check-in at a counter or haul out of the belly of an airliner.
God is patient with us.
He knows what we have experienced in the days before we met Him and He also knows that it will take both time and an ongoing revelation of His favor in our lives to make us understand that He is different.
It is this combination of time and loving grace that can open the eyes of our hearts and enable us to truly understand that God is the one Being in the universe who is utterly good, and the only One who can completely remove the evil in each one of us. As we know our Lord better our perspective starts to change.
We come to realize that the perfect Lover of our souls really does exist, and His name is Jesus Christ.
