About Us
representing christ in the airline industry
Our Work
FCAP was formed in order to encourage Christians who work in the airline industry to walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. FCAP seeks to encourage its members to enjoy Christ’s presence and to possess His power in order to be effective salt and light in their workplaces.
Additionally, FCAP desires to see its members help carry out the Great Commission by introducing their co-workers to Jesus Christ and helping them grow spiritually. FCAP provides various resources and support for its members in order to help them accomplish these goals.
Some of the ways FCAP encourages and supports its members include prayer, fellowship, Bible study, and mentorship. By providing these resources, FCAP seeks to help Christians in the airline industry grow closer to God and become more effective witnesses for Him.
Our Mission Through the 4 E's
Our Mission is to see Christians connect in every area of the airline/aviation workplace throughout the world; to display God’s glory and to be His influence while on the job.
We do this through what we call the 4 E’s: Edify, Engage, Encourage and Events.
We EDIFY one another; we build one another up in the Word and love. In order to do this, we build a strong foundation on core Biblical truths, to not just understand and identify them, but effectively articulate them and to have the ability to defend them. This edification is an ongoing process. We prayerfully continue to focus on the Living Word as the Holy Spirit reveals the truths of Scripture to us. We truly believe that building this foundation is vital as believers.
1 Peter 2:2 | Romans 15:1-7 | 2 Timothy 3:15-17
As we build a strong foundation on core Biblical truths, we ENGAGE, or connect, communicate, and converse with one another. We are the light and salt in this fallen world; to do that effectively, we engage with the people around us, the people God has placed in our lives. Engagement can begin with how we carry ourselves as ambassadors of Christ in our workplaces and everyday life. Are we inviting and welcoming others to engage with us? How do we act or behave in trying, testing, or taxing circumstances? Are we approachable or do we approach others in need? How do we know if someone is truly in need? Sometimes the only way to know that is to engage with one another in consistent and effective communication.
Colossians 4:6 | Ephesians 4:29, 32 | John 13:34-35
As we engage with others and build relationships we also
ENCOURAGE one another; we are there for one another. Especially in these times! There is not a person living who does not need encouragement. We encourage one another in many ways. We spend time together, pray together, and so on. We are encouraged because God is a God of mercy and comfort, and we receive this comfort from God through Jesus. We can also be encouraged because God is there in our afflictions, and because of that we can truly be instruments of comfort to those around us.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 | 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 | Matthew 28:19-20
In this ongoing process of edifying, engaging, and encouraging one another, we create a level of excitement, energy, and enthusiasm for the Lord like no other! As we do these things, this level of EXCITEMENT will bring more people to a closer and deeper relationship with God our Father.
What are the 4 E’s of FCAP International?
A Peak In History
The ministry of FCAP began in the 1971 and incorporated in 1973 when 50 people from eight different airlines in the United States and Canada met to consider how God wanted them to serve Christ in and through the airline/aviation industry. Since that time, the ministry of FCAP has spread in over 90 areas worldwide!
