Fellowship Of Christian Airline Personnel

A Bold Faith: Part One

When most of us think of “boldness” in witness in the airline workplace we think of direct verbal witnessing to our fellow employees.

It is no doubt true that one aspect of “on the job evangelism” can be sharing the gospel verbally in a straightforward, but respectful, manner when appropriate. However, there are several other ways to be a light for Christ, whether in the air or on the ground. These include, but are not limited to, reading our Bibles openly during work breaks, displaying our FCAP crew tags, lending an attentive, listening ear, offering to pray for people, or showing any other special kindness to colleagues.

All of these approaches can be effective and, in the creativity with which God  has gifted us, we can likely think of as well as act on, quite a few others.

In the next few weeks our Thoughts for the Week will explore the many ways we can make a difference in our colleagues’ lives in leading them towards salvation. There is no greater thing any of us can do in any earthly job than be a part of that literally life or death process!

“Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.”
