God is Not Mocked: The Danger of Casual Sin

Personal wrongdoing should never be a small matter to the Christ-follower, whether he or she is on the ground or in the air.

Transgression of God’s law is always a grave matter, and it is not necessarily wrong to question the spiritual status of those who casually do wrong.

The “seventy times seven” forgiveness principle in scripture (Matt. 18:21-22) likely applies only to those who both recognize their sin and humbly seek forgiveness for it.

We are never free to sin, but we are free to know that, in the love of Christ, God has made a way back to Him if we are penitent.
