Airlines sometimes run out of money resulting in our being out of a job. This is part of the reality of living in a fallen world. Thankfully God never runs out of anything and sharing His endless resources with His Children is a part of Who he is, and Who He is to us.
All human beings, Christians included, live in a physical world where the law of scarcity appears to prevail.
This is certainly true in the terrestrial and physical sense. For instance, we only have access to finite natural resources. A good example of this reality is oil. When the Earth finally does run out of petroleum it will be the end of that resource, period. God only deigned to make a certain number of dinosaurs. The whole economic principle of competition is based on the fact that there is only so much of any given material in the world to go around.
However, this paradigm does not hold true in the supernatural realm. God Himself is infinite and the aspects of his character which he gives liberally to His children are infinitely available.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” -James 1:17 (ESV)
