“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” These words from Matthew 9:37 echo through the corridors of our airline office, where God’s extraordinary love transforms ordinary moments into divine appointments. Each day, as His presence fills our workplace, 162 members of our fellowship witness may be experiencing the supernatural power of His grace in action.
Living Letters of Christ
Like the Apostle Paul, we are “living letters of Christ” (2 Corinthians 3:3), written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God. Through daily devotions and weekly video meetings with our colleagues and led by LHR chaplain, we’re becoming living proof that God’s love can transform any space into holy ground. As Deuteronomy 8:2 reminds us, “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way,” and indeed, His guidance has been perfect. Every circumstance, every interaction becomes a platform for demonstrating His supernatural power and perfect timing.
Psalm 138:3 becomes our heart’s song: “When I called, you answered me; you greatly emboldened me with strength in my soul.” This isn’t about creating programs – it’s about experiencing His presence that changes everything it touches.
His love breaks down barriers we never thought could fall. Every flight schedule becomes an opportunity for prayer, every meeting room a place of divine encounters. As our ministry reaches across borders, Psalm 139:7-10 takes on new meaning: “Where can I go from your Spirit?” His presence transcends all boundaries, transforming our corporate structure into Kingdom territory.
Transcending our Struggles
Like Job of old, I’ve walked through valleys of testing that seemed endless. Five years without career advancement, financial strains that keep me awake at night, and the weight of preparing for fatherhood while struggling to meet basic needs. There are moments when, like Job, I’ve questioned, “Why, Lord?” The pain of being overlooked for opportunities, the struggle of maintaining faith while watching others prosper, the challenge of leading spiritual fellowship while battling personal hardships – these trials have tested my faith to its core.
Yet, just as Job declared, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him” (Job 13:15), I’ve discovered a profound truth: our deepest suffering often becomes the soil for our strongest testimony. Like the refiner’s fire mentioned in Malachi 3:3, these trials aren’t just testing me – they’re transforming me. Each financial setback, each professional disappointment, each moment of uncertainty becomes another chapter in God’s story of faithfulness.
Like the Israelites receiving manna, we witness God’s daily provision in miraculous ways. Even when the salary hasn’t increased and the bills keep mounting, His grace proves sufficient. As I balance ministry responsibilities with preparing for fatherhood, Deuteronomy 8:3 anchors my soul: “Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” His Word sustains us through the darkest nights, His presence empowers us in our weakest moments, His love transforms our deepest pain into purpose.
Looking Ahead
Psalm 138:8 fuels our vision: “The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.” We’re not just existing in the corporate world – we’re thriving as living proof of God’s revolutionary love. Each shared devotion, each prayer with a colleague, each act of faith declares His transformative power. To everyone seeking evidence of God’s reality: look at how He turns ordinary office spaces into territories of His glory. As Psalm 139:16 declares, “All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” This includes every breakthrough, every victory, every life changed by His presence.
The world desperately needs to see living proof of God’s love, and He has positioned us – right here in our airline office – to be that evidence. Through faith in action, revolutionary love, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we’re becoming living witnesses so that His light penetrates every corner of our workplace.
This is our moment. This is our calling. In every interaction, we’re not just sharing God’s Word – we’re becoming living proof that His love transforms everything it touches. As 2 Corinthians 3:18 promises, we are being “transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory,” and our workplace will never be the same.
