The FCAP Ski Adventure normally appears on the Tauernhof website as a “closed group,” but that will not be the case beginning this year. Beginning next month, the Ski Adventure will appear on Tauernhof’s website as “Airline Week” because Tauernhof has many airline employees who attend throughout the year.

The Ski Adventure is not just for those who enjoy skiing. This past year featured excursions and activities such as :
- Learn to Make Apple Strudel with a Local
- The Factory Tour where we visited an Austrian slipper factory in a neighbouring village, and the Lodenwalker wool clothing factory that has been in existence since 1434 that is tucked away in the Alps
- A day trip to Hallstatt, one of the most picturesque villages on earth
- At your own leisure, take a 40-minute hike up the gorgeous Talbachklamm trail by numerous waterfalls, have lunch at Landalm which is housed in a 300-year-old barn, then hike back down
Linger around the Bauernmarkt (Farmer’s Market) on Friday morning where you not only experience local produce, and the locals as they shop, but can taste a bit of the Stryish culture with a freshly-made Steierische Krapfen. Then head to Landgraf in the center of the Hauptplatz (Main Street) for breakfast. Be sure to sit by a window because Friday morning all the locals are in town shopping. There’s no better way experience to experience the local culture.
