The Gospel of Jesus Christ penetrates the most difficult barrier, that of a hardened heart. It conquers the darkest dominion, that of shame, hatred and death. When faced with the Gospel of Christ, it will bring a person to their knees, not to dreadfully enslave them, but humbly free them to serve out of gratitude and love. Religion, philosophy and political systems strive to alter human behavior. However, the Gospel of Christ is God’s powerful work of transforming a person’s life from the inside to the out (PMC).  Consider the Gospel: “By which you are saved…that Christ died for our sins according the scripture…that He was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, according the Scripture” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
