When applying for a higher position, some companies ask that applicants do satisfactory in their current positions. Some who don’t have such ambition consider what they do as just a job or “just eight hours.” Many don’t care whether they perform satisfactorily in their current positions. I hope that none of us has that mindset because the latter missed the “God-sized view of work.” As far as Christians are concerned, it is not just a job when one’s work seems mundane. God is measuring our integrity to see if we have feet for ministry, or if He can entrust us with more excellent things. MM Consider: “Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?” Luke 16:11-12 (NKJV)
