This recent report and accompanying photos were shared by FCAP leadership there: “We at FCAP-LTP/LTTP are happy to report to you the success of our mission trip in San Juan Batangas as part of our 18th year founding anniversary. We assembled early morning (0600) on Saturday, September 22 in front of the LTP main gate and departed around 0700 with … a total of 18 missionaries and a lot of gifts and foods for the brethren of Glad Tidings and Kakawan churches…. The long haul trip to Batangas was never a boring one for we enjoyed our bonding moments together….” After checking into their accommodations and brief rest, they proceeded to the chapel and had a worship service attended by pastors of the above mentioned churches. Zacky Flores, who came all the way from Sydney, Australia, was their guest speaker that evening and delivered a message related to their anniversary theme, “Better Together-Connect with One Another, Grow Together, Serve One Another.”
At 0400 the next morning they were up preparing for the worship service at Glad Tidings Church. There they were warmly greeted by the brethren with all smiles on their faces. After a time of praise and worship, Pastor Jake Aquino delivered a message. The FCAP Praise and Worship team rendered a special song entitled “Sapagkat Ang Diyos Ay Pag Ibig” They write, “It was filled to overflowing with some people standing outside the church building but intently listening and participating. During the alter call almost all of them came forward to be prayed for by the Lufthansa brethren, including the pastors and church workers. It was like a revival service that morning where everybody felt the warm presence of the Holy Spirit. To God be the glory!” Gifts and treats were provided for the children. The two pastors and their respective churches received financial love gifts from FCAP-LTP/LTTP and from a church.
In closing, they write, “We left the place and headed back to Manila … blessed and with gladness in our hearts. To all the brethren who in one way or the other prayerfully, financially, materially, and physically supported our mission anniversary trip, thank you so very much. Without your unselfish support, this would have not been possible.”
TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY! AMEN!
One of our leaders in FCAP-Papua New Guinea has been displaced from her airline job due to company cutbacks. This photo was taken at a farewell luncheon given in her honor. Thank you, Nancy Aue (third from left seated), for your faithfulness to the Lord over these many years in ministry among your airline co-workers. Our prayers go with you in this new chapter of life.
The Cargo team, which is a part of our FCAP Fellowship Group in Papua New Guinea, recently paid a visit to one of their own who has been struggling. They prayed over their co-worker, asking for God’s restoration upon her. The two young children pictured above with the group joined in the sharing, singing and prayer time. How thankful we are for the faithfulness of this group in reaching out with the Good News and love of Jesus to all around them!
This comes to us from our FCAP family in the Philippines: “Our faithful God had surprised us today with another opportunity to minister to His people through our caroling. We are invited to sing on December 15 (Monday) in the Christmas program of LTP. That will be after the Christmas Mass at 9 a.m. in Bay 3. Our Father in Heaven is really awesome. He provided a bigger venue for FCAP-LTP/LTTP to minister to His people…. Thank you very much indeed to all of you for your support and prayers. The fingerprint of God is beginning to become visible in our company. Truly HE is to be praised! When our faith in HIM intersects with HIS faithfulness to us, definitely JESUS will show up and shine. Let us all continue to claim Lufthansa Technik Philippines and Lufthansa Technical Training Philippines for Jesus…. Expect more of God’s great things to happen in 2015. To God be all the glory!”
Frances Murphy reports that their monthly FCAP meetings have small-medium numbers and are still growing. People have commented that they feel the presence of the Lord, and some have received Jesus into their lives for the first time. Prayers are being answered — prayers of healing and restoration. The Lord provided one person with a job in an unexpected work area. The past two months’ inspirational DVDs have portrayed the dynamic life of Billy Graham — God’s Ambassador and his early years. The inspirational DVDs are always encouraging. Coming up is “Heaven — Is it for Real?” and “God’s Not Dead!” She goes on to share about their upcoming dinner evening in December, describing it as “a wonderful celebration and time of thanksgiving with praise and worship, carols by candlelight and a Scottish piper.
In a recent phone conversation with Frances Murphy, we learned eight people attended their September 14 FCAP meeting in Auckland New Zealand. She also reported that after requesting a short article about FCAP in “The Crew Magazine” they decided to give a full page ad about FCAP. The New Zealand group is also praying about hosting a South Pacific FCAP Conference to be held in the Spring of 2016.
