On the evening of June 6, Paul and Claudette Curtas had the wonderful opportunity to meet with those attending the FCAP-Zurich Airport meeting. There are four FCAP groups that meet regularly in the ZRH Airport area. We thank God for their testimony there.
The FCAP-Munich group hosted a Friday (June 2) barbecue and Saturday (June 3) morning breakfast meeting. Paul & Claudette Curtas enjoyed the special opportunity of visiting with the group and presenting an overview of the new FCAP WorkplaceTraining #2, “Engaging at the Workplace.” It was presented to the group in two sessions, one on Friday evening and one on Saturday morning. A big “thank you” to Ulli & Heinz Stengel for coordinating this, and special thanks to Christian and Ulrike Schaaf for hosting this at their home in Freising. Thank you also for putting some of the group up overnight. Paul writes, “We always enjoy being with this group, and hearing how God is working through them at the workplace.”
Some of the people who go on the FCAP Ski Adventure are there simply for the fellowship and beautiful surroundings. Others take it one step further and love being involved in the ski races. Here are photos of happy winners:
The skiing is fun, but we hear from many who attend that the most enjoyment at the FCAP Ski Adventure comes from the fellowship and relaxation around meals, refreshments, and the gatherings. It is a wonderful time to rekindle old friendships and to establish new ones. Once again the group was entertained and blessed by a number of excellent musicians. Among these were Penny Lea Clark and Katy Lou Clark, better known as the “Purple Hulls.”
Our FCAP Ski Adventure in Schladming, Austria is now history, but the enjoyment continues through the photos and dialogue shared. Here is another glimpse of their week.
