Recently, FCAP Board member Jerry Litwiller and his children, Joshua and Brittany, had the privilege of spending a few hours with Eric Yip in Singapore. Eric is one of the leaders of FCAP-Singapore. Jerry, Joshua and Brittany were then able to spend time with friends in Shanghai (pictured in the beautiful photo with the Shanghai background). Connecting with God’s people is always a blessing … wherever He takes us!
Raja Konatham, an FCAP leader in Hyderabad, had the joy of meeting with a Christian brother who works in technical support for Indigo Airlines ramp services at Vijayawada Airport, 300 kms from Hyderabad. Response was very positive as Raja explained to Mr. Dhanraj about FCAP and shared at a small Bible study group. We thank the Lord for how He orchestrates such connections!
The Body of Christ present throughout the airlines of the world is a mosaic from every people and place, beautifully diverse yet united in Christ. Our FCAP family in Singapore is indeed a beautiful part of this mosaic. It is always a blessing for us to hear from those within our FCAP family who are both near and far away. Thank you, Eric Yip, for sharing with us the above photo of the group meeting in your part of the world.
We are grateful to have recently received this photo from one of several FCAP groups meeting regularly in the Philippines. Their faithfulness there to one another and to their co-workers is a blessing to many.
On November 23, our FCAP family in Hyderabad came together for another special time of fellowship. Raja Sekhar Konatham writes, “We had a wonderful and blessed time. I must admit all credit goes to Capt. Pooja, who along with her husband Capt. Jay Pradeep, have taken the initiative to pull all of us together…. One of the highlights of our meeting was felicitating Mrs. Sulochana (wife of the late Mr. Peter Jaya Rao). The blessing we in FCAP-Hyderabad received from them in our formative years (1994-1998) was immense…. All glory to God!”
Our FCAP group in Mumbai has been meeting every third Saturday at Captain Lav Samuel’s home for nearly 15 years now. Attendance averages around 12-15 with some in attendance not from a Christian background. One lady over 80 years old is a Hindu but comes just to hear the Word. Praise and worship time is followed by a message and prayer for the needs of people. The group reports, “Over the years we have seen many miracles taking place with wonderful testimonies.” The group gives special recognition to Pastor Mark Fernandes (former Delta flight attendant) and Ravi Shukla, describing them as “pillars of FCAP Mumbai.”
