What is FCAP?

The ministry of FCAP is carried on throughout the airline workplaces of the world by ordinary people who see their work as a partnership with God. We do not have a membership nor are we a club with dues. Rather, FCAP is a fellowship of Christians who identify with one another through a common focus and purpose. We desire to demonstrate how our faith in Jesus Christ will influence how we do our work, how we treat people, and how we respond to the circumstances of our workplace. We are blessed to have both airline and non-airline people who encourage and support the ministry.

Thought for the Work Day

Thoughts on Christmas:  We have entered the Christmas season. The world would like us to believe that the biblical story about the baby Jesus was local folklore that has been given a lot of hype over the centuries. Some religious groups feel they must fight to disconnect Jesus Christ in every way from the modern celebration of Christmas, which is said to be connected to pagan roots. So, what do we know about Christmas and its significance in history?  First of all, its initial meaning was not pagan.  It is a service or mass (Christ-mass/ceremony) that has been traced back to 336AD, when the church decided to celebrate God’s coming into the world to be among us. Christmas is not our Lord’s birthday as no one knows that exact day.  Rather it is a time set aside to celebrate our Lord taking on humanity and being born into this world. Though it is not a biblical holiday, it does represent a profound biblical event that should be acknowledged.  That is why we worship our Lord for His birth, His earthly life, His death and resurrection. Without this meaning, Christmas becomes a mere human festival. (PMC)  Consider: “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God (1 John 4:2).
