What is FCAP?
The ministry of FCAP is carried on throughout the airline workplaces of the world by ordinary people who see their work as a partnership with God. We do not have a membership nor are we a club with dues. Rather, FCAP is a fellowship of Christians who identify with one another through a common focus and purpose. We desire to demonstrate how our faith in Jesus Christ will influence how we do our work, how we treat people, and how we respond to the circumstances of our workplace. We are blessed to have both airline and non-airline people who encourage and support the ministry.
Thought for the Day
Opportunities abound within the daily routines of work for both sharing God’s truth and connecting with other believers. One airline man recently shared with us how God is connecting him with other believers through simple conversations with co-workers. Team members at work have begun asking questions and are increasingly discussing things of a spiritual nature. He was recently asked how he personally battles discouragement. Never before had he openly addressed his faith with this colleague, yet she said she had noticed. He is discovering opportunities to share a message of hope instead of fear as world news is discussed among his peers. Are you in tune with the opportunities within your workplace? Consider: “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may … glorify your Father who is in heaven.” “… Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” (Matthew 5:14; I Peter 3:15)
