What is FCAP?
The ministry of FCAP is carried on throughout the airline workplaces of the world by ordinary people who see their work as a partnership with God. We do not have a membership nor are we a club with dues. Rather, FCAP is a fellowship of Christians who identify with one another through a common focus and purpose. We desire to demonstrate how our faith in Jesus Christ will influence how we do our work, how we treat people, and how we respond to the circumstances of our workplace. We are blessed to have both airline and non-airline people who encourage and support the ministry.
Special Thought for the Day
…in response to the tragic events that occurred this week in the airline industry
The tragic news released today that the co-pilot of the Germanwings flight 9525 intentionally made it a suicide mission, killing 150 passengers and crew members, brings even more grief, pain, and bewilderment to those who were already overwhelmed with anguish by Tuesday’s disaster. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of those lost in this tragic event. We ask that God’s people would show their support by offering their prayers and, when opportunity presents itself, we would be a source of comfort to those who feel overcome by this sad event. Also, let us pray that God would show mercy by revealing the intent of any person who would want to bring further destruction to people through the airline industry. Lastly, let us pray that fear does not grip us but we would know God’s comfort and be strengthened with courage in our hearts. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
