What is FCAP?
The ministry of FCAP is carried on by everyday ordinary people throughout the airline workplaces of the world who go to work with an extraordinary calling. The FCAP ministry does not focus on specialized people, nor are we a special interest group focusing on certain issues. We do not have a membership nor are we a club with dues. Rather, FCAP is a fellowship of Christians who identify with one another through a common focus and purpose. And we desire to demonstrate how our faith in Jesus Christ can influence the people and circumstances of our workplace. We are blessed to have both airline and non-airline people who encourage and support the ministry.
Thought for the Day
Co-workers within a company share a common identity which is defined by the company’s policy, job responsibilities and communications. The combined effort is to offer a well designed product/service to the public. Christians in the workplace have an added dimension by which they can be identified by a joint effort. We are told that through a relationship with Christ and His work, we can participate in God’s powerful promises. God gives us His wisdom and provisions, which also prevents us from being corrupted by the evil around us. When Christians personally entrust themselves to God in their daily work, and connect with each other in their workplace, God’s collaborative work will go public and identify them as…the people of God at the workplace. (PMC) Consider: “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. He has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” (2 Peter 1:3-4)
